Santos Bike Shop opened in May of 2001 in Ocala of Central Florida, and just want to thank everyone for their support. We’re excited about our growth and look forward to the continued opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service.
Our Staff
Chris Fernandez: Owner and future lottery winner. He’s been riding bikes since before he was born and has actually dreamt about competing in the Leadville 100, the Tour de France and finishing a full Ironman competition all in one year. He is currently in training toward this but may not meet the age cut-off in time. Current Ride: Cannondale Super Six (Road) & Giant Anthem X 2 Advanced (Mountain)
Michael Phelps: Service Professional with us for 10 years. Ace mechanic who is so good he can even tune a fish. He is often mistaken for an Olympic Swimming medalist due to his near perfect athletic physique. Current Ride: Giant TCR Advanced (Road) & Giant Anthem Advanced (Mountain)
Ed Sabol: Service Professional with us for 4 years now, G.E.A.R. graduate, SBCU graduate, F.I.T. Specialist. He has also completed at least one full Ironman event which qualifies him to wear a cape and mask and have an alternate identity.
Shannon Joseph: Service Professional with us for over 2 years. He specializes in everything and also drives a Jeep with really large tires. Current Ride: Giant Trance (Mountain).
Scott Hernandez: A Trials and Freeride technician and aficionado, Scott has worked in bike shops across the nation, most specifically in California and Minnesota. He can play the drums very well and has toured the nation with rock bands playing music that everybody has heard at some point in their life. Current Ride: Custom Cannondale RZ 120 (Mountain).
Ron Henion: The resident wacky person and professional MTB racer/rock star (at least in his own little world). Current Ride: Giant XTC 2 (Mountain).
Erica Hill: Our newest sales team member and general Ms. Handywoman. A recent convert from the horse world when she decided those things eat way too much. She had been in the bike world for a while, but finally made the quantum leap into the dark abyss…or was she pushed, kicking and screaming? 
Current Ride: Giant Trance X4 (Mountain).
